UK based Argent Architect, together with imaginative client Mr Tim O’Donovan, have produced a dramatic design to convert the Old Tenby Lifeboat Station in Wales into a residence. The project was aired in popular TV Series Grand Designs on Channel 4 last night. The Boathouse forms part of the stunning backdrop of Tenby harbour. Michael Argent of Argent Architects stated : “Wonderful project and a delighted client who was more than effusive in his praise for us in interviews with Kevin McCloud, the host of Grand Designs. He said that if it wasn’t for us he’d have a glorified bungalow on stilts. This project is great for Tenby”.
The entire structure is clad in sheet metal.
