We have blogged about this project before, which is one of Safintra Roofing’s CSR projects. Safintra Roofing was honoured attended the official hand-over ceremony on 7 December 2011. The function was attended by members of the Department of Health, Department of Public Works, Ethekwini Speaker Cllr Logie Naidoo as well as representatives from the various firms that sponsored the project. The transformation of this facility into a happy, safe, healthy and colourful space is truly remarkable.
The children’s art were printed onto wall-paper to create the wall treatment for the new art room. Colourful doors accents the clean white and cream lines of the facility. A generous verandah will provide outdoor learning and playing space in hot weather. The facility is framed in a cost effective weld-mesh fence, slotted with brightly coloured strips of perspex creating a cost effective, yet aesthetically pleasing boundary solution.
Safintra Roofing is truly honoured to have been a part of this “New Beginning”. We wish the staff of this facility all of the best in their new state of the art building and the children a happy place on their road to recovery.
