Bowen Mountain House by CplusC Architectural Workshop

28 May

This beauty in New South Wales, Australia was initially meant to be a “basic weekender”. Clearly the design evolved into a fine looking compound complete with swimming pool, pool house and sauna. The sectional angled roof is one of the most striking features of the house in that it creates an open living space below. New and recycled Australian hardwoods were used to clad the steel structure. Extensive use of glass was made merging the indoors and outdoors seamlessly. I must say, I have never been a fan of Louvre windows, but they do look quite sexy in this application.
