LOT-EK Architecture

12 Jul

This blogpost started off as a study of the use of shipping containers in architecture worldwide, and was naturally inspired by New Jerusalem Children’s Home by 4 D+A Architects, which we have featured extensively on our blog and in our national marketing campaign.

Well thanks to the fact that I am a complete sucker for a good-looking website, I got stuck at the second firm I was researching J New York based LOT-EK Architecture. Besides having a really cooking website, this firm has done designed some absolutely amazing spaces using recycled shipping containers! Love the bold use of colour and brave angles. I might still do the post I intended to do….. so check back soon!
