Small House Movement Part 3 – Tiny Texas Houses

17 Jul

Bigger and better in Texas? Not always! In this post we take a look at Tiny Texas Houses Company’s take on small scale living. Brad Kittel, Founder and Owner of Tiny Texas Houses believe that tons of vintage building material is at the fingertips of consumers awaiting re-harvesting. His approach is salvage quality material and repurpose with simple human energy into simple dwellings with a zero carbon footprint and oodles of charm.

The company’s goal was to show consumers what could be achieved with Pure Salvage Building, which implies that 99% of building materials, such as doors, roofing, glass and timber siding have been re-purposed in the construction of these gems. Brad believes that the current generation is sitting on enough building materials to build much of the next generation of housing. Brad calls each custom, hand crafted Tiny Texas House a unique piece of “House Art”, which will provide its inhabitants with a Green, energy efficient and simple lifestyle.

We are loving it! More HERE
