Re-educating the City exhibition by UJ Mtech students – Event pics

19 Jul

So last night was the BIG night and according to my source Pieter Ernst Mare (Architect at Lupini Architects) it was a “very cool function” indeed.

As blogged before, the Mtech class from UJ(University of Johannesburg) recently completed a project focused on the regeneration and improvement of Inner-City schools; having designed possible new models for the adaptation of existing spaces and buildings, in JHB city, for educational purposes, aiming at a range of crèche to post-matric learning facilities. Their exhibition and built intervention was showcased at Progressive Primary one of the inner-city schools in Braamfontein last night.

We look forward to showcasing more pics of the event soon! Thanks to Pieter Ernst Mare for the pictures 🙂
