Mishima House by Keiji Ashizawa Design

3 Sep

For someone in the steel roofing industry this home is “heart palpitation” material 🙂

This single family home by Keiji Ashizawa Design is located in downtown Tokyo. It has been built somewhat upside-down but for good reason. To achive maximum sunlight efficiency the home’s bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the first and second floors with the kitchen and living room on the third. A loft study area is located above the third floor.

We ABSOLUTELY love how the sheet metal is incorporated as an interior design element – WOW!
